Music Ministry
From its earliest years, Ebenezer has been very blessed to have talented musicians of all ages. It is said that people came from far and near to hear musical programs presented by the Ebenezer Choir. Today we are especially blessed with our choirs and musicians from the novice to the seasoned performers.
Chancel Choir
Under the leadership of our Director of Music Ministries, our choir has 25+ members who practice on Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. We have an accomplished pianist and an accomplished organist. The choir provides music for 11:00 worship and small groups provide music occasionally at 8:30 worship. At Christmas, the Chancel Choir and the Ebenezer Winds Ensemble join together to offer special seasonal music to the public with one Sunday afternoon performance and two evening performances usually followed by a wonderful reception hosted by our Hospitality Team. The Chancel Choir also provides special music for Easter, our community-wide July 4th celebration, and other special services.
Ensemble
Our ensemble has 10+ members who practice on Thursdays at 6:30. The ensemble plays on Sunday mornings during the 11:00 service and small groups play occasionally at the 8:30 service. Among some of the instruments are flutes, saxophones, trumpets, baritone, piano, organ, and mallets. We perform in the Christmas program, 4th of July, and other special services. We also travel to nursing homes and other places to perform.
There are solo, duet, trio, and quartet opportunities for both chancel choir and ensemble.
Interested musicians are welcome to join our music program.
The Solid Rock Vocal Band
Formed in 2006, The Solid Rock Vocal Band specializes in Southern Gospel music, but also sings some Pop Gospel and secular music. While they primarily sing at churches, retirement and rest homes and religious events; they occasionally perform at Country Clubs, parties and social events.
The band is currently comprised of a 1st tenor, 2nd tenor, baritone, bass and on occasion an alto. Accompanying them are an acoustic guitar, piano, bass fiddle, flute, xylophone and occasionally a saxophone.

Praise Band
The Praise Band is under the direction of the Director of Contemporary Worship. Our mission is to bring God’s word to His people through music, personal testimonies, and Scripture. God has placed us together for this purpose, and it is our desire to serve Him with all our hearts, minds, souls and strength. Our praise band is comprised of many talented musicians 15+ (vocalists, guitarists, bassist, drummers, pianists and more) and we welcome all who would like to give of their talents to the Lord. Practice is held Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center.

Several musical productions are performed during the year. Practice times vary accordingly.
